Tang Heab Seng Fish Sauce Factory Co., Ltd. (THS) was founded in the province of Rayong, Thailand in 1914 and today exports to more than twelve countries, including the United States. As the US importer for THS, Something Thai Inc. supplies wholesale quantities to food manufacturers and retail chains.

Two grades, one standard of quality

Golden Boy is the Grade A fish sauce made by Tang Heab Seng — a pure sauce with a strong aroma and flavor. The liquid is clear and reddish-brown, made from a single type of anchovy (Engraulidae, or Stolephorus).

Cook's Yim is the Grade B sauce: lighter in color while carrying the same delicious aroma and flavor, though not as strong or robust — making it well suited to certain recipes. Both sauces have a two-year shelf life.

Made under strict food-safety programs

Tang Heab Seng fish sauce is packed and held in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including strict sanitary requirements. The factory runs an ongoing Food & Safety Program and an effective Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program that defines the hazards, critical control points, and verification needed to ensure the physical, chemical, and microbiological safety of the product.
